A Neil Diamond impersonator working on a Florida gambling cruise falls instantly in love with a striking Cuban woman in his audience. After an embarrassing off-stage encounter leaves him too mortified to perform, he loses his job, abandons his raided trailer park, and hits the highway toward Miami on a desperate, long-shot quest to find her.
