Set in a poisoned Ohio trailer park, Hillbilly Kabuki centers on Stretch, a man enduring agonizing opioid withdrawal. In the aftermath of a violent night where his neighbor's abuser was set on fire, Stretch and the surviving neighbor, Candy, watch local children macabrely reenact the trauma. Amidst broken bodies and environmental ruin, the two find a quiet moment of connection, dreaming of leaving their dark world behind.
